The absence of sleep brings a variety of complications including lack of concentration, irritability, anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, loss of personal relationships, and increased risk of serious health problems. Sleep deprivation can be very problematic because when someone is deprived of sleep, they can experience cognitive impairment, emotional problems, and physical illness. Mental health is related to physical and emotional health and is what produces the sense of happiness. It is the result of a healthy environment, which are created by good relationship with others and society, and by regulating the stress response. When the body is well, the mind can relax and regenerate. When it is fatigued, the mind is more susceptible to sickness and disease.

Mental disorders are caused by the effects of stress on the body, mind and spirit. When the body is stressed out, it produces hormones such as cortisol that cause imbalance of glucose levels in the brain and the rest of the body. This in turn causes mental disorders that include high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, anxiety, and depression. Health experts believe that one of the best ways to improve health and to reduce the effects of chronic diseases is to practice a holistic approach that involves an elimination of toxins, balancing blood sugar levels, and eliminating the stress in the life.

Health education about disease prevention and medical treatments is essential for every individual to have. Prevention is the best medicine, and by practicing healthy habits and a clean environment, we can all stay healthy and live longer. Educating the public about these common but deadly diseases will help them take better care of themselves and contribute to their own economic well being.
